WOMEN'S AUTUMN-WINTER 2016 SHOW: THE SET

The setting for the Louis Vuitton Fashion Show.

The enigmatic location for the Autumn-Winter 2016 Fashion Show comprised a dome, a cube and a pyramid structure, built alongside the magnificent Fondation Louis Vuitton designed by Frank Gehry. The show universe was filled with tensions between seemingly opposing elements - future and retro, eternal and ephemeral, monument and ruin. The bespoke venue was filled with 57 silver pillars made from shattered mirrors and broken colonnades keeling over with concrete spilling out. A blue aquatic mood was offset by crisp white neon lighting and a constantly changing and evolving environment that reflected the story of the collection as it unfolded.
