• WONDERLAND BOOT

A boot with an LV TWIST buckle creates a transversal signature with the new classic Louis Vuitton Twist bag.

The new Flat Ranger in plain calf leather is adorned with the interlaced letters “L” and “V” to form the initials LV Twist buckle, as a transversal signature with the leather goods collection of the same name.

The decorative ankle strap matches the calf leather. The boot also features golden accessories and black laces.

An absolute must-have this season that will give any outfit a masculine-feminine edge.

Louis Vuitton will travel to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to mark its third Cruise collection presentation.

The Cruise collection presentation will be held on Saturday, May 28th in an exclusive setting: the Niterói Contemporary Art Museum (MAC). A landmark building in Brazil, designed by celebrated Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer.

The iconic building, shaped like a flying saucer that looks like it has landed on the side of a hill overlooking Guanabara Bay, facing Rio, was built in 1991 and inaugurated in 1996. The white modernist structure is reflected in a pool that surrounds its cylindrical base, “like a flower”, as the famed architect described it. The Louis Vuitton Cruise presentation marks the first time the museum has ever hosted a fashion show and also serves as an occasion to celebrate the museum’s 20th anniversary and its reopening to the public following a major renovation project.

"Following the Bob and Dolores Hope estate designed by John Lautner in Palm Springs, California, we continue the architectural journey that is so particular to the Maison Louis Vuitton" explains Nicolas Ghesquière, Artistic Director of Women’s Collections at Louis Vuitton.

The Louis Vuitton Cruise show will be broadcast live on May 28th on www.louisvuitton.com. #LVCRUISE

This season, the Summer collection offers two new printed stories: "Monogram Jungle", an iconic Monogram canvas twisted with a new print inspired by Californian landscapes and its emblematic palm trees and oasis, and “Monogram Bay” with chunky oversized chain print, a statement from the Cruise 2016 show in Palm Springs. Also highlighted is the "Monogram Vernis Jungle", a Monogram patent leather covered with dots reminding of exotic animals fur.

These new prints are available on Louis Vuitton's iconic models such as Speedy and Neverfull, as well as on accessories and shoes.

A selection of the top looks and details from the Louis Vuitton show.

In a futuristic show scenography, set aside the Fondation Louis Vuitton, dynamic heroines graced the catwalk between mirror-columns, inspired from French artist Justin Morin’s artwork «Melted Bones».

Alternately showing close-ups and slow motions, this short film pays tribute to the details that make Nicolas Ghesquiere's wardrobe immediately idenfiable: leather jackets, fluid sensual dresses in scarf prints, mohair sweaters,  zip-front molded-hip jackets, gigantic pendant earrings, new bags, etc.
