For the third time, Michelle Williams teams up with photographer Peter Lindbergh to present the new shades of the Lockit handbag in Louis Vuitton’s latest advertising campaign.

Between two performances on Broadway with the sparkling revival of the Tony Award-winning musical “Cabaret”, Michelle Williams drops by Peter Lindbergh’s New York studio to appear in the new advertising campaign for Louis Vuitton. Styled by Carine Roitfeld, the actress shows a modern allure as she dons pieces from Nicolas Ghesquière’s collections.

Originally created in 1958, the Lockit has ceaselessly reinvented itself, now, more supple in cashmere calfskin, with elegant curves and rounded lines. Here, this new campaign spotlights new shades: beige Galet and Black with python trim.

In his Fall 2014 fashion show, Nicolas Ghesquière paid tribute to the legendary Louis Vuitton trunk with a piece of fine jewelry, “La Petite Malle”, to wear as a distinctive pendant.

With over 150 years of history, Louis Vuitton trunks are the secular emblems of the House, synonymous with travel, adventure, exploration, secrets, and treasures. For his very first women’s collection, Nicolas Ghesquière specifically designed miniature trunks to wear as a minaudière bag and as a refined 18 carat yellow gold pendant, as seen here.

This precious talisman will now dress women’s necklines in the form of three different trunks to choose from: a cubic trunk in Epi gold, an open trunk with compartments, and a rectangular trunk in sandy gold.

The exact design of the historical Louis Vuitton trunk is recreated with thorough craftsmanship: corner pieces, delicate padding, handles, saddles, “LV“ initials engraved, nails, Epi leather effect, and a gold bar in the back engraved with hallmark, gold weight and composition. Last but not least, a “lock hole” chain carries each pendant.

  • BUSINESS BAGS : A DISCREET STYLE

Louis Vuitton seduces stylish city dwellers with new daring and masculine colors for their Porte-documents in smooth Epi and Taïga leathers.

While Louis Vuitton offers a wide range of business bags in iconic Damier and Monogram canvases, there is also an understated collection made of Taïga and Epi leather, soberly embossed with an “LV” signature. The Porte-documents in these leathers are made to perfectly suit the refined businessman.

In this film shot by Mikael Jansson, César winning actor, Matthias Schoenaerts, wanders the vast and peaceful landscape of Iceland, meditating on the meaning of adventure. He dons the Fall 2014 menswear collection and carries the timeless and functional Porte-documents Business in Burgundy Epi leather.

These lines are available in new shades to discover here.

For Nicolas Ghesquière's first Fall 2014 womenswear collection, Louis Vuitton invited German photographer Juergen Teller for a distinctive interpretation of the collection.

Photographed from the House’s Parisian headquarters, with intimate views of the Seine and Eiffel tower, twelve models grace the Fall 2014 women’s collection with an edgy attitude.

In this selection, gloriously smooth, full-grain leather is contrasted with hybrid materials. Bold, bright colors are juxtaposed with muted halftones. Hand-crafted artisanal techniques are updated with a high-tech twist.
