Louis Vuitton presents, “Volez, Voguez, Voyagez - Louis Vuitton” at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul from June 8th through August 27th 2017. Curated by Olivier Saillard, the exhibition retraces Louis Vuitton’s great journey from 1854 to today, through archives of the Family’s founding members, and to those who create the Louis Vuitton of today.

The exhibition presents objects and documents from Louis Vuitton’s archives, as well as, a selection of pieces on loan from the Palais Galliera, musée de la Mode de la Ville de Paris and from private collectors. The Korean instruments presented during the Seoul exhibition come from the the Musée de la Musique - Philharmonie de Paris, where donated collections from 1900 Exposition Universelle are displayed, illustrating the refinement of the traditional techniques. A section devoted to craftsmanship, with craftsmen from the Louis Vuitton ateliers closes the exhibition.
