• LOUIS VUITTON TRAVEL BOOK: VIETNAM

    Louis Vuitton publishes two new titles in its “Travel Book” collection illustrated by artists from around the world. In this edition, Italian comic book author Lorenzo Mattotti discovers Vietnam.

    A Parisian by adoption, Lorenzo Mattotti was born in Brescia, Italy, in 1954. He studied architecture in Venice, then moved towards the graphic novel form, of which he is now one of the best representatives. In this travel book dedicated to Vietnam, Mattotti opens us towards a vibrant world of color suffused with energy and vitality. A window into his impressions, his illustrations leave us contemplative.

    The Louis Vuitton “Travel Book” collection is an invitation to real and virtual voyages, offering a contemporary vision of travel. In its pages, the illustrations of renowned artists and promising young talents tell the stories of the cities and countries they have visited, depicting each place’s varied architecture and special light, and recording the passing days and the lives of its people.

  • TRY ON THE BLEND SHOE

    Louis Vuitton gives the classic Men’s Derby shoes a modern twist with the Blend shoe collection featured in this animated film.

    The Blend shoe model is characterised by its surprising combination of materials and colors. The front is crafted from dark mat calf leather with a “LV” perforation on the toe and rubber sole, while the back and heel are made with colorful waxed calf leather.

    The Blend Richelieu, a low version, and the Blend Ankle Boot, a higher version with a chevron-patterned extension, are released in a range of three colors: Marine, Bordeaux and Cognac.

    These dashing and daring pairs will add a hiking-spirit to your style.

  • A SOUTH AMERICAN ALLURE FOR FALL 2014

    Peru has inspired the new Louis Vuitton Fall Menswear collection which Men’s Style Director, Kim Jones, incorporated the most refined local materials with the notion of digital and new age travel.

    As a unique combination of cutting-edge innovation and traditional craftsmanship, the men’s collection for Fall 2014 features daywear and tailoring, outdoor wear, evening and loungewear, as well as the most precious Peruvian materials such as cashmere, vicuña, chinchilla, alpaca, along with python and silk.

    For accessories, the new Damier Cobalt canvas adorns the classic Keepall and introduces a new model, the backpack-hybrid Keepall. Bags are modernized with the Louis Vuitton trunk handle. Derby shoes come in calf leather and trekking boots in rubberised leather. Scarves are made of silk twill in chevron and stripe patterns. Sunglasses are both alluring and practical. Jewelry made of gems and stones complete each look.

  • WOMEN’S SHOES: ZOOM ON THE ZIP

    For the occasion of the Fall 2014 launch of the women’s shoes collection, John Wright captured a series of graphic pictures highlighting the feature of the season: the zip.

    This line of daytime and evening shoes is vamped with zips that rock each model to modernize any silhouette. Brogues, loafers and ankle boots are made from calf or waxed calf leather. Sandals and low boots are crafted with python and suede goat leather that flatter the arch of the foot.

    In a skillful trompe-l’œil, a play on perspective, pairs of shoes have stomped through the emblematic public squares in Paris - Place de la Concorde, the Trocadero, the Louvre, etc. – under the aesthetic eye of Scottish photographer and film director John Wright.

    A delicate blend of cashmere for warmth and silk for softness, these timeless scarves offer an enveloping feeling, in an effortless style, to wear in cold weather as well as warm nights.

    Blurry shades of light gray brightened up with coral, a chic and classic taupe, and the Camouflage patterns are part of the new Icons shot under Brynn Heminway’s direction in the film above.
