• LOUIS VUITTON TRAVEL BOOK COLLECTION

The Louis Vuitton "Travel Book" collection adds Hawaii, Mexico and Tokyo to its destinations.

On May 4, 2017, Louis Vuitton launches three new titles within its "Travel Book" collection, illustrated by artists from all around the world.

Comic book artist Esad Ribic, draws the Hawaiian islands in a vigourous and realistic style, while Nicolas de Crécy depicts Mexico as a baroque, feveris country, filled with poetry. Finally, Eboy, a pionneer of pixel art, depicts the very soul of Tokyo.

Exhibitions of the original drawings will coincide with the launch of these books worldwide.

The Louis Vuitton “Travel Book” collection is an invitation to real and virtual voyages, enriched by intellectual stimulation and poignant moments. In its pages, the illustrations of renowned artists and promising young talents tell the stories of the cities and countries they have visited, depicting each place’s varied architecture, special lighting, and recording the passing days and the lives of its people.

For each new title, a numbered, and signed limited edition is available in select Louis Vuitton stores. View the collection here.

Louis Vuitton introduces its Summer collection, featuring the iconic Damier Azur canvas with fresh pink signature.

To celebrate Summer 2017, the Damier Azur canvas is revisited with an inspiration from the endless summers of paradisiac Tahiti, multicolor sunsets and stunning beaches.
A new twisted yet recognizable Louis Vuitton signature, inspired by the archives of the House, gives a modern aspect in the reinterpretation of the Monogram. A light pink signature, highly feminine for a summery and radiant allure.

These new prints are available on Louis Vuitton’s most iconic models such as the Keepall, the Speedy and the Neverfull. This new transversal print story, also seen on accessories and shoes, perfectly mixes with the summer feminine silhouette.

The Objets Nomades Collection, enriched with 10 new items, will be presented during Fuori Salone in Milan, from April 4th through 9th at Palazzo Bocconi.

Created in 2012, the Objets Nomades collection keeps alive Louis Vuitton’s long tradition of beautifully crafted travel objects. Some of the world’s most renowned designers have since imagined stunning travel-inspired Objets, which have then been made by Louis Vuitton.

The limited editions and experimental prototypes that make up the Objets Nomades collection, all pay homage to the House’s special orders of the past, and add the defiantly contemporary visions of creative designers from around the world: Atelier Oï, Maarten Baas, Barber and Osgerby, the Campana Brothers, Damien Langlois-Meurinne, Nendo, Gwenaël Nicolas, Raw Edges, Patricia Urquiola, Marcel Wanders, and most recently, India Mahdavi and Tokujin Yoshioka.

Today, there are 25 Objets Nomades and 10 among them will be presented for the first time during Fuori Salone in Milano. From a hammock to a deckchair, from a swing chair to a foldable stool. Each Objet embodies the same ideals: a love of the beauty of fine materials, the possibility of forms and carefully balanced proportions, complex and meticulous craftsmanship, and close attention to detail.
