    • LOUIS VUITTON FOR UNICEF - Louis Vuitton Heritage NEWS
We thank you all for your generosity and commitment.

In January 2016, Louis Vuitton made a promise to help children in urgent need through its support for UNICEF.
With your help, we have raised $4.8 million to do amazing things for children living in the most difficult situations.
Thousands of Syrian refugee children are receiving humanitarian assistance and furniture from UNICEF, helping them to fully live their childhood.

Today 130,000 people have opened their hearts to #MAKEAPROMISE with Louis Vuitton and UNICEF to help vulnerable children.
We thank you all for your generosity and commitment.

More is needed. More than 8 million children are affected by the Syrian regional crisis. The Syrian refugee crisis remains the largest humanitarian crisis since the end of World War II.

Join us now. Make a promise.
Together, we can make a difference.

  • LAST DAYS OF THE EXHIBITION IN NEW YORK

Don't miss your last chance to visit the "Volez, Voguez, Voyagez" exhibition in New York City until January 7, 2018.

The global journey of “Volez, Voguez, Voyagez – Louis Vuitton” continues in New York, where the former American Stock Exchange provide a grand backdrop for this immersive exhibition. Curator Olivier Saillard once again leads visitors through the history of the House as a thematic journey brought to life by Robert Carsen’s dynamic scenography.

With this latest instalment the longstanding presence of Louis Vuitton in America is sure to resonate, from George Vuitton’s participation in the 1893 Chicago World Fair, to archival items that belonged to such illustrious clientele as Ernest Hemingway, Lauren Bacall, F. Scott Fitzgerald, as well as the Rockefeller and Vanderbilt families.
Displays of collaborations with artists Stephen Sprouse and now Jeff Koons allow visitors to see the House codes interpreted with a vibrant and distinctly local influence. Finally, a section dedicated to the artisans’ workshops, highlights how savoir-faire has driven the story of Louis Vuitton all along.

  • LOUIS VUITTON LOVES AMERICA

Inspired by its New York location, the “Volez, Voguez, Voyagez” exhibition includes a special room dedicated to the shared history between the United States and Louis Vuitton.

Unique to the New York edition of “Volez, Voguez, Voyagez – Louis Vuitton” is the final room where visitors will find several examples of Americans embracing and interacting with Louis Vuitton throughout history.

Against the backdrop of Stephen Sprouse’s bold graffiti graphic, a video of the Spring 2008 collection created in collaboration with Richard Prince offers a throwback to the artist’s singular interpretation of the Maison’s codes. If the dresses on display look familiar, that’s because celebrity friends such as Michelle Williams, Taylor Swift, and Selena Gomez have worn them on the red carpet.

Rounded out with a selection of archive pieces belonging to distinguished clients such as Barbara Hutton and Diana Vreeland, the American Room presents an alternate view of Louis Vuitton’s diverse and colorful narrative.
