Nicolas Ghesquière creates iconic designs from Louis Vuitton’s chest of treasures for the Women’s Fall 2015 Collection. Inspirations move from the special Auto Trunk for Citroën, Albert Kahn’s Special Photographer’s Trunk, and tweed vanity case to Louis Vuitton’s unpickable lock and key.

Formal, the new permanent collection of suits from Louis Vuitton, is ideal for men who wear suits as a lifestyle.
Specially created for urban travelers, this collection perfectly reflects the Louis Vuitton philosophy: the Art of Travel. A synthesis of Louis Vuitton’s signature razor-sharp, yet relaxed look, the collection includes single and double-breasted styles and will be revisited every season with new patterns and fabrications. Jackets are light, easy to wear, and feature three interior pockets specific for travel with a boarding pass, passport, and phone, while flat front trousers have a tapered leg and slim line waist.
The Formal collection is now available in the following select Louis Vuitton stores: Aventura, Beverly Hills Rodeo Drive, Houston Galleria, New York 5th Avenue, San Francisco Union Square, Toronto Bloor Street.

A glimpse at the craftsmanship behind Nicolas Ghesquière collection.
Each Louis Vuitton collection involves an uncountable number of talents and the “behind the scenes” of a show can be just as fascinating as the final collection itself.
During the few days preceding the show, photographer Fabien Barbazan strode along the different workshops and studios involved in the making of this collection to produce a series of images depicting the Savoir Faire of the House.
