• LV VIRTUAL ADVISOR

Louis Vuitton introduces its own chatbot, a virtual advisor that extends the luxury experience through Facebook instant messaging.

Maintaining a direct connection with customers has been a pillar of the Louis Vuitton philosophy since its founding back in 1854. With the arrival of a chatbot as a new feature accessible through Facebook Messenger, instantaneous contact becomes easier and more intuitive than ever.

Similar to today’s advanced messaging technologies, the real-time communication tool supports customers with information and advice as they complete their final purchase. On call at all times – 24 hours a day, seven days a week – this virtual advisor is intended as a dependable, indispensable service that integrates the familiarity of messaging with the luxury of Louis Vuitton.

Programmed to address a wide range of questions, the Facebook chatbot can suggest an ideal item or help with logistical concerns. Meanwhile, customers will sense a personalized, one-to-one touch as they engage in the discussions.

As an expert voice, it is poised to further the relationship customers have with the House. It will enhance the personalized visual and conversational shopping experience for each client, while attesting to Louis Vuitton’s embrace of technology alongside savoir faire.

  • OBJETS NOMADES AT DESIGN MIAMI

Louis Vuitton presents from its Objets Nomades collection, an exclusive turquoise edition of the Bomboca Sofa by Fernando and Humberto Campana, at Design Miami/ from December 6th - December 10th.

Launched in 2012, Louis Vuitton Objets Nomades is an ever-expanding collection of limited-edition, collectable furniture by renowned designers, inspired by the House’s historic Art of Travel, while reinterpreting its essential spirit.

The Bomboca Sofa, named after sweets served at weddings and children’s parties in Brazil and meaning “very good”, is a modular piece that was originally inspired by cloud shapes and colorful round sea apples. The result is like a puzzle in which eight removable cushions are arranged in a rigid, leather-covered shell.

Other Objets Nomades making their Design Miami/ 2017 debut include pieces created by Atelier Oï such as the Swing Boat, the Belt Chair and the Spiral Lamp with its twisted straps of leather. Also presented are Patricia Urquiola’s Palaver Chair in a mix of wood and woven sheets of perforated leather, India Mahdavi’s Talisman Table in leather marquetry, and Marcel Wanders’ rocking Lune Chair and leather Diamond Screen.
