Upcoming exhibition - From June 19th to September 29th, 2019

The Fondation Louis Vuitton presents for the first time a significant selection of works from its Collection at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, Moscow: sixty pieces, by over twenty French and international artists, produced between 1947 and 2018.

This "Hors les murs" presentation represents the Fondation's commitment to modern and contemporary art. The curators of the exhibition have taken into account the specificities of the Pushkin State Museum and feature a variety of monographic series and powerful works in different media.

Two spaces are dedicated to the Fondation's achitecture by Frank Gehry. Models, drawings, videos and panoramic photos are displayed, allowing the Russian public to picture the Fondation as an architectural entity, as well as in its Parisian environment, at the heart of the Bois de Boulogne.

Collection of Fondation Louis Vuitton: Selected Works is presented in conjunction with another exhibition devoted to the Shchukin Collection. These two prominent collections will help visitors trace the similarities and differences in the collectors’ approaches and the evolution of contemporary art collecting from the early 20th to the early 21st centuries.
