Blending the spontaneity of colognes with the sophistication of perfumes, the unique collection created by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud is inspired by the colors, scents, and spirit of the Californian coast. After Sun Song, Cactus Garden, and Afternoon Swim, comes California Dream, celebrating the delight of a sunset, that special moment that prolongs the joy of a summer's day.
A sunset is at once ephemeral and perpetual, a moment that's unique and yet eternally renewed. The same goes for perfume, which is at once elusive and always true.
In this iridescent fragrance, the Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud holds onto the moment, captures the resonance of a sunset. The ardent mandarin is consumed by joyfulness, tempered by the diaphanous ambrette and its subtle warmth. And the evening gets underway as graceful, vanilla-tinged benzoin envelops the skin in an affectionate balm, as light as a summer night.
Louis Vuitton has once again collaborated with artist Alex Israel, who also dressed the first three Perfume Colognes inspired by some of his most emblematic works. This year, the Los Angeles native lent his signature "Sky Backdrop" motif to the new perfume's packaging and glass bottle, where it has been rendered iridescent with transparent pink evaporating into twilight blue.
