Les Parfums Louis Vuitton opens a new chapter in its history of perfumery with the launch of a seventh fragrance dedicated to men: Imagination.
IMAGINATION
In creating Imagination, Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud explored the art of contrast through the unprecedented attraction between amber and black tea. In order to strike a contemporary chord, he turned to Ambrox, a molecule present in ambergris, as the starting point for his five-year-long creative process. To give resonance to this exceptional material with lavish proportions, he accentuated it with a smoky black tea, illuminated it with noble citrus, and energized it with sizzling spices. Thanks to his expert savoir-faire and obsession with detail, the Master Perfumer finds the balance of a perfect accord from some of the most precious things nature has to offer.
For five years, I’d been dreaming of revealing the beauty of ambergris and expressing the quintessence of its amber note in a way that’s of-the-moment.
L'IMMENSITÉ
The feeling of finding yourself before a limitless horizon, L’Immensité quickens the heartbeat with the possibility of total freedom. In this laser-sharp composition, a crackling whisper of ginger is brightened by the bitterness of grapefruit and softened by an addictive and sensual amber note.
MÉTÉORE
Just like the dazzling phenomenon after which it is named, Météore captures intense luminosity with a crystalline, powerful, and instantly bracing composition. The sizzle of spicy mandarin gives the perfume’s heart an invigorating freshness while resonating with a trio of peppers and revealing the enchanting facets of Javanese vetiver.
NOUVEAU MONDE
Evoking the memory of one of Louis Vuitton’s first clients, the legendary explorer Pierre Savorgnan de Brazza, Nouveau Monde is an ode to discovery. Through the unexpected meeting of raw cocoa bean and an extremely rare oud assam, this composition is a whirlwind of harmonious essences.
ORAGE
To express the magical and frightening power of a storm, Orage blends the nobility of iris with vetiver’s vegetal freshness against a luminous patchouli heart. This majestic and earthy fragrance recalls the paradox of mankind’s fragility and the raw force of the elements.
SUR LA ROUTE
Inspired by the wind rushing against the skin at full speed, Sur La Route evokes the exhilarating experience of being on the road. Blending bright Calabrian cédrat and bergamot citruses with enveloping Peruvian balsam, this energetic fragrance is a reminder that the journey is just as important as the destination.
