Painter and visual artist, Brooklin A. Soumahoro was born in Paris and works now in Los Angeles. His série The Open Window explores his interpretation of his time in the countryside of the South of France, more precisely his senses of time, light, color and spaces regarding to these landscapes. To do so, he applies his own theory research by combining self-produces graphs and diagrams with paints mixed to obtain a specific vivid tone, transcribing his feelings on linen canvas. This série testimonies how he draws his sensibility and inspiration from art history movements such as abstraction, conceptualism and minimalism.
