I received a gift purchased from Louis Vuitton. Can I exchange or return it? If so, how do I proceed?
You may exchange or return a Louis Vuitton item received as a gift.
- Please ensure you retain the original invoice or gift receipt, along with the original packaging and documentation, as these are required for any return or exchange.
If you wish to exchange your gift, you have two options:
- Contact our Client Services team at +1.866.VUITTON, where a Client Advisor will gladly assist you with returning the product and selecting the perfect new item.
- Exchange your gift purchased online at any Louis Vuitton store (except Saks, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, and Nordstrom).
Please note:
- Refunds are issued only to the original method of payment.
- PayPal purchases may be exchanged or returned exclusively through our online store within thirty (30) days of purchase, when accompanied by the original sales receipt.
- If your gift was purchased in a Louis Vuitton store, you may exchange or return it in-store with the original invoice and packaging, as noted above.
- Items purchased in-store cannot be returned or exchanged online or through Client Services.
- When a gift is exchanged or returned, a notification indicating this will appear in the purchaser’s MyLV account.
