• Avoid prolonged contact with any materials that may transfer their color pigments onto the patent leather (magazines, other leathers). The migration risk may particularly affect small leather goods.
• Prevent your product from humidity and keep it away from direct sources of heat (radiators, inside of cars in summer).
• Avoid exposure to sunlight as the color of your patent article may fade. Light colors are more sensitive to light and could slightly turn yellow.
• Be careful not to scratch or rub your product against abrasive surfaces. We recommend that you clean it with a soft cloth.
• Avoid contact with hand cream, hand sanitizer, make-up and perfume.
• When not in use, store the article in the felt pouch provided with your purchase. Do not store in high temperature, high humidity or unventilated areas.

Natural cowhide leather:

• The trimmings are in natural cowhide leather, the skin is finished through a vegetal tanning process. Some natural marks or genuine irregularities in the leather may shouw through. Over time, this delicate leather, which is sensitive to scratches, will acquire a beautiful patina.
• Protect your product from water, which may stain the leather.
• Natural cowhide may be stained by contact with damp hands (sanitizer, hand cream, water, perfume, etc.).
• Should it get wet, dab it with a lint-free, light-colored and absorbent cloth. Never use solvent.
• The more the leather acquires a patina, the less sensitive it will be.

Lining in textile or calf leather:
Some bright colors could migrate into other light colored products, such as accessories or small leather-goods. In case of superficial stains, clean it by wiping it with a soft and light-colored cloth.
